accurate square on point patches
to fit 5 finished block sizes (6”, 8”, 9”, 10” and 12”)

The “Square on Point Quilt Ruler” has 4 Cutting Edges

A 8” Square on Point Cutting Edge to cut square on point patches for 8” finished blocks.

A 9” Square on Point Cutting Edge to cut square on point patches for 9” finished blocks.

A 10” Square on Point Cutting Edge to cut square on point patches for 10” finished blocks.

A 12” Square on Point Cutting Edge to cut square on point patches for 12” finished blocks. 

Note:
The 12” Cutting Edge is also used to cut square on point patches
for 6” finished blocks. Simply double the patch count.

Square on Point Quilt Ruler

There are only 2 things you need to know to be able to use the
“Square on Point Quilt Ruler”.

1.) What size you want your finished block to be? Simply select the appropriate cutting edge for that finished block size.

2.) What portion of the block does the individual square on point patch span (All, 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4?

The “Square on Point Quilt Ruler” was designed to accurately create
multiple size Square on Point (Square in a Square) Patches without wasting any fabric. All square on point patches are cut on straight of grain. Patches surrounding the square on point patches are created with the “Zero Math Quilt Rulers”.

All 1/4” seam allowances are calculated into the positioning of each Dash Line.
