This quilt represents my turning point in quilting. After quilting easy stuff for 20 years I wanted to make something challenging. So without patterns this quilt was started. The blocks were to be 10 inch finished. With a variety of blocks to make I couldn't determine the size strips and subsequent squares to make to complete the triangles. My better half was stuck with doing the math and with his calculations the points of the triangles started to be less troublesome. The problem was that the calculations he gave were in hundreths of an inch and the ruler only came in one-eights increments. Subsequently we developed the Zero-Math Quilt Rulers that give the correct size of the strip to cut and the size of the square that is needed to create half and quarter-square triangles. Perfect Points without patterns for most traditional blocks. And, blocks can be made in various sizes!
